The Mission at Sea of Green
Sea of Green’s mission is to provide the North Shore with trusted and knowledgeable lawn care service. As a family-owned small business, we take pride in helping our neighbors care for their investment and enjoy their time outside.
Get to Know Our Owner
The owner and operator of Sea of Green, Chris, started the company in 1992. He prides himself on providing knowledge-based services in cities around Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Chris graduated in 1987 from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Forestry Technology and has been able to keep up-to-date with the progressing technology and information in the lawn care industry, even earning a certificate with UMASS Amherst in Invasive Species.
As an active member in the national and local turf organizations such as the Massachusetts Association of Lawn Care Professional (MALCP), National Association of Landscape Professional (NALP), the Farm Bureau, and a 25+ year member of Newburyport Chamber of Commerce, I have stayed well-versed in the communities that Sea of Green services. Chris holds a supervisory New Hampshire license, as well as commercial lawn care and tree and shrub license in Massachusetts, where most of the cities we service are.
